On Friday the 28th of Feb. we woke up to this... It had rained all night and it was still pouring down when we got up in the morning. Becky and the boys were coming up in the evening to visit so we decided it would be a perfect day for cleaning and shopping.
The weather improved a little bit on Saturday and Johan wanted to show the sand dunes to Alex and Ben so we went back. Henry fell asleep as we took off so I stayed in the car with him while the rest started climbing.

Despite the wet weather we had to have an ice cream at our favourite place. Johan made friends with the staff on the first day and we came back almost every day to try different flavours.

Becky, Graham, Alex and Ben left on Sunday and we stayed for a few more days. The weather cleared up and we could enjoy some lovely sunny days on the beach before coming home to John and Di on Wednesday night. After spending more than three weeks on different beach locations the car was in desperat need of a clean, inside and out.
