So off we went to Dublin for Jims birthday, I won´t mention numbers...
As you can see from the photos the focus was on drinking. The first set of photos are from the Jameson destilleri. A beautiful industrial building.
Irish coffee for Jim and some other nice drink for me.
On the to do list was of course pub meals. This one was very nice, Jim had fish and chips:)
We were told we were lucky with the weather, about 18 and sunny!
The famous (or infamous) temple bar. The bar area was called Temple bar aswell as a specific old bar. It was a bit ruff though, a lot of people drinking, day as night, and quite dirty.
We did manage to fit in some cultural events, like the Trinity College and the book of Kells. This is in the old library, you weren´t allowed to take photos of the book of Kells unfortunatly.
Back to drinking. We went to the Guinness brewery, did a quick tour and finished it off at the top in the Gravity bar overlooking the city.
As true tourists we did the Hop on Hop off bus.
Over all we had a good time but we were a bit disapointed with Dublin. It was more shabby then we thought it would be and a lot of drunk people.

How about adding a photo of Jims special bottle of Jamesons. Must have been nice to be on your own for a change but I bet you missed the boys.
