Gate and steps

The gate was finished for the last blog but here is a photo. Nothing too special, just a pre made sung gate from the local hardware store and some serious hinges to support hanging kids.

The gate would have been the exact height as the balcony but the floor versus the balcony wall wasn't the squares and it wouldn't swing. So I lifted it up 5cm. 

 The stones I just finished yesterday. Moved some plants and set the steps into the garden. Hopefully it grows up and the depth of the stone setting will give it a rustic feel. That and the odd placements. The last stone was some building waste that the builders left under the decking. It's a concrete pile which now serves as a step.
