Well..... We’ve gotten kind of behind on the blog, it’s been busy here, there has been so much going on lately we almost missed Christmas. We got plenty of well wishes and Johan scored big with the presents. Thanks to everyone for the cards and pressies.
Now, to the first hair cut. Today was a little tuff, Elin and I both have horrible colds and haven't been able to entertain Johan this weekend. But today we force ourselves out to the local shopping center, mainly to let Johan run a mock but also to get some groceries.
We started with a quick lunch and it was immediate obvious that Johan was ready to go, he was screaming with joy and waving to everyone. Our plan was simply, put on his shoes and just follow him as he ran a mock. Along his travels he walked past a hair dresser and Elin and I thought to book him a hair appointment for the following weekend.
However, as luck (or not) would have it, they had a spot for him today and Johan ended up getting his first hair cut today!
We had noticed this hairdressers before because they had cool little car seat for the kids. Anyway, he was a little angel. He played with the car, then spent some time watching the in the mirror and he was done before his dad.
We dont have a picture of the finished product (its not much different) but here is a little clip of the action.

Fantastic!! Not too sure about the hairdresser though he must have lots of patience. I like the end of the vid, its obvious that as far as Johan is concerned the session is over.
what a good little boy! We had tears when Ben had his first haircut, but he had the electric clippers.
Not sure how confident I'd be in a hairdresser who has to wear a beanie to hide his own hair :p

Johan doesn't take after his Poppa had to hold Jim down for his 1st haircut. Looking forward to seeing him next. xxx Nana
