A weekend in Sydney

It's a little too far for Elin and I to go to Sydney everyday, plus Johan finds it rather boring stuck in his pram all day. So, to get some good Sydney time in and spare Johan of his boredom, Elin and I booked a hotel in sydney for the weekend and did all our long walks sans Johan.

If you ever need a cheap hotel in Sydney you should check out www.wotif.com. Its a website that hosts a bunch of special deals. Not sure if it was the winter market or wotif but we got a decent hotel in Sydney for a decent price.

Anyway, without Johan we were free to take our time and simply enjoy Sydney with its nice winter weather. A long the way we of course snapped some nice pics to share.

A busy Sunday at the Opera House. Just like in Stockholm, the sunny weather brought everyone out to the seaside and there was a good size crowd hanging at the bars below the Opera House.

Looking back into Sydney from the Opera House, Circular Quay in the front (where our ferry trip into town stops).
The sun set and we tried to take some night shots of the Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge.

The next day, after a needed sleep in, we took a bus ride out to Bondi. Here is Elin with Bondi behind.
More Bondi
This is probably the best known view of Bondi.
Despite my outfit the weather and the water wasn't that cold. I likened the water to swimming at Ålön last summer, low 20s.

Not that big difference from Ålön...ok, the waves are bigger...
God for you to have a weekend by your self./ Mia
