Christmas 2009

Three days of eating and just sitting in different sofas, and this is the result! (And of course the fact that the due date of the arrival of the baby is only about a month away...) I´ve finished working and it feels so good. Now it´s time to be lazy until the next big challange.

If we go back in time, this is the day before Christmas eve, at mom and Ulf´s place. Ulf´s girls Jessica and Therese were staying the night so we popped in to say hi.

Christmas eve we went to dad and Agneta and of course Molly. All the snow we got before Christmas actually stayed, so, according to grandmother Märta, this was the first Christmas in eight years where we´ve had snow.

Jim is doing an angel pose, aparantly... (I didn´t know angels were that hairy).

David wanted to make himself extra pretty so he borrowed dad´s tie.

Meatballs made by me.

You have to have sill on the smörgåsbord for Christmas.

Agnetas son Christoffer also joined us.

Beer for Jim, not me. While everyone have been drinking beer, wine, snaps, glögg and so on, I´ve had to rely on soft drink all Christmas. Oh well, not long to go now.

David gave us a baby book, where we can write information about the baby, starting with length, hight, and then when it smiled the first time, walked etc. You get the idea. And you can put ultrascans in there and other photos. Really good, because I can imagine you easily forget.

Christmas day Jim made a lamb roast. It was his first attempt and it turned out really nice! Everyone really appriciated it.
One mistake though, he ordered lamb on bone, not boneless so it took him about two hours to debone the meat. But it was yummy.

Marinated with butter, garlic and rosemary.

Mom, Ulf and David came over. More presents.

Time to eat!

Here is our new layout of the apartment. Yes, we have changed it again... But it´s probably the last one we make. We like this. (The tv is opposite the sofas.)

Take care everyone!

What a wonderful blog. You win the record for the longest. It looks as though you had a great Christmas. Love the new furniture layout.
Its the sort of blog where you have to keep going back to check it out again and again.
Next big blog could be full of baby photos!!
Take care. XXX
